It’s My Birthday

… and I’m celebrating it by simply BE-ing. Mother Nature has blessed this day with sunshine, temperature in the low 70s and birds singing joyously. I love our dry camping site overlooking the cypress swamp. The play of light on the trees and palmettos constantly changes.  Depending on the hour, owls hoot, ibises feed and frogs croak. I love it!

My birthday started on a happy note when the love of my life sang  “Happy Birthday” to me while I was still snuggled in bed. He’s at the RV park’s craft and bake sale now, offering some of his watercolor photo prints for sale and giving me the gift of this lovely morning to meditate, journal and simply BE.

This afternoon, we’ll take a scenic drive in our tow car to an area we haven’t yet explored.

What a perfect way to spend my birthday! I hope your day is joyful, too!
