The Spirit of Sunrise with David, Rose and Sonya

Here we are! The Spirit of Sunrise with driver-extraordinare, David, and the two co-pilots, Rose and Sonya. Our Class A Winnebago Itasca is 32 feet long, has two slides (living room and bedroom) and pulls our Toyota Corolla on a dolly. We love it!

    Greetings from Lafayette:

I’m off to yoga and you two are exploring the world! Dick and I were so happy to see your smiling faces this morning. Your new home is fantastic, and I love the idea of mechanical rooms–in, out, in out at your choice. I’m going to spend time reading through your blog a little later. Tell Sonya my first down dog this morning is in honor of the Muenkers. Happy travels and thanks for keeping in touch.

Beautiful! I still wish I could have seen her in person before you launched her on her maiden voyage, but I guess I’ll have to wait until spring to get the tour. When you get the chance, would love to see shots of the entire vehicle, and interior shots, too!

Sweet Ride! I would love to see it. What is something like that like to drive?

It’s been great to drive except when there was a strong cross wind sweeping across Kansas on Interstate 70 (pulled a muscle in my upper arm) — and when we crossed the Ohio River on what must be the narrowest bridge in the U.S.! Burnt some rubber off the sidewalls on that one! –David

Ahhhh….home sweet motorhome! You two look so happy. AND unfettered. Makes me wonder why we accumulate so much “stuff.”
I look forward to more posts – and pictures.
    Happy travels!
    Love,
    Joy
